402 people were fined during drunk driving checks over the weekend

According to traffic police personnel of the two commissionerates, 402 offenders were detected during weekend special drink driving checks in Hyderabad and Siberabad.

Hyderabad traffic police caught 312 drivers during the drive, including 245 two-wheeler drivers, 35 three-wheeler drivers and 32 four-wheeler drivers. Joint Commissioner D. “We have taken legal action against universities that violate regulations and conduct unofficial admissions through fake advertisements,” Sajjanar said.

Osmania University officials informed the police that many colleges under Hyderabad administration were advertising large-scale membership claims without recognition or permission. Sajjanar said such deceptive practices lure students with false promises.
