Ponguleti Hints at Good News for Scribes Next Year

Nalgonda:Revenue and I&PR minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Saturday said journalists can expect “good news” regarding the allotment of houses in the New Year. He stated that the issue has already been discussed with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

He explained that the Supreme Court orders had delayed the allocation process, but assured that the government would overcome the hurdles and deliver positive news soon. Srinivas Reddy made these remarks during his virtual address at the district level meeting of Telangana Working Journalists Federation (TWJF) in Khammam.

The Minister also said that the issue of new accreditation cards is in the final stages and a Government order will be issued within 10 days. He added that every eligible journalist will receive accreditation. He appreciated journalist unions and their members for fighting in unity for their rights.

Srinivas Reddy was scheduled to attend the meeting in person but had to go to Hyderabad. His phone address was broadcast through the announcement system in the venue.
