Sydney welcomes 2026 with spectacular fireworks display

We are just minutes away from what is considered the best fireworks display in the world.

Foti International Fireworks is responsible for Sydney’s New Year’s Eve fireworks, an arrangement that has been in place for 28 years. The fireworks are launched from various landmarks, including the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, and the show lasts approximately 12 minutes.

Show scored This year’s soundtrack is titled Higher Together by Jono Ma.

But all roads lead home to the “Cracker Hut,” a room in an unassuming brown structure at the bridge’s midpoint where signals are triggered to set off fireworks.
