T20 World Cup 2026: England have better spinners – they can beat India, says Michael Vaughan

“England’s on-field performance was absolutely outstanding,” Vaughan added.
“They look really alert. England’s run between the wickets was outstanding.
“The small percentage things that you can control yourself, England seem to do very well.
“I have a strange feeling that England can handle the job in Mumbai.”
England look set to once again back their out-of-form opener Jos Buttler, who has made it five successive single-figure scores in this tournament.
Vaughan said Buttler focused too much on his technique as he tried to get out of his rut.
“When you’re not feeling as good as you used to, you always look at your technique,” he said.
“Jos is a hand-eye player. Just look at the middle of the ball and react to shots.
“The shots he doesn’t play are ramp shots. I think this course lends itself to that shot, and to play that shot you have to look at the ball directly on the bat.”
“When he plays well, he makes shots early.”
