Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses revenue tripled over the year

Revenue from Ray-Ban sales Meta Smart Glasses have doubled up to the year, Essilorluxoticica announced on Monday as a part of the company’s latest earnings report.
Essilorluxottica said that the success of Ray-Ban meta glasses, which was built through a partnership with Facebook parent until 2019, contributed to the first half of the 14.02 billion euros (US $ 16.25 billion) representing a leap of 7.3% annually.
“We are pioneering the transformation of glasses as the next information processing platform, a, rich in sensory technology and data, will strengthen people and open the lock of our full potential,” CEO Paul du miles and Paul du Milini said in a common stock. “The success of Ray-Ban Meta, the launch of Oakley Meta Performance AI Glasses and Nuance Sound Positive Response to this new border are important milestones for us.”
In the earnings report, the company said that the new Oakley Meta Smart Glasses announced in June represented the latest product line from its partnership with its social media company. In June, CNBC reported that Meta and Luxotticica plans to launch a Prada branded version of smart glasses in the future.
Luxottica is the owner of a few well-known brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, Vogue Eyewear and Persol.
