Labor dumps tradition to block Coalition from key parliamentary posts

Coalition MPs are expelled from the top of the key parliamentary committees that examine the legislation after leaving the tradition and end a bilateral application that guarantees balanced leadership.

The movement opens the position of vice president in three key committees – climate change, environment and energy; Health, elderly care and disability; and Economy – MPs reflecting the decreasing numbers of the coalition in May after the May elections in May.

Liberal MP Garth Hamilton, Vice President of the former Economy Committee, said it is not possible to take a role again because it would not have as much supporter as some independents.

“The clear alignment of voting behavior between sea blue and labor will only make these committees into echo under these changes,” he said.
