Zelenskiy denounces Russian drone attacks ‘terror’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy accused Russia of increasingly terrorizing civilians of their country and reported that at least 1800 drones were launched in Ukraine last week.
The President said that on Sunday, the Russian forces in Telegram left more than 1200 slip bombs in Ukraine this week and started 83 missiles.
Zelenskiy, “The Russians, our people to even intimidate cities and municipalities to increase terrorism.”
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian leader praised the country’s air defense.
The specially developed preventive aircraft dropped hundreds of Iranian -made Shahed battle planes in Ukraine this week.
Zelenskiy said that he had recently had a series of meetings with the allies to further improve these defense drones.
Thanks to foreign weapons, Ukraine has been defending a full -scale Russian invasion for more than three years.
Russia has recently increased air strikes in Ukraine overnight and has been hitting the air almost every day.
Meanwhile, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will meet with US President Donald Trump after Trump announced that he plans to sell members of military alliance weapons later to Ukraine.
NATO said that Rutte will be at Washington DC on Monday and Tuesday, and Trump will meet with Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Congress.
The visit mocked Trump that he would make a “great statement” in Russia last week on Monday.
Rubio said on Friday, some of the US -made US -made weapons in Ukraine were deployed with European NATO countries.
He said that these weapons could be transferred to Ukraine and that European countries should take backups from the USA.
“For example, from Germany to Ukraine from a (USA) factory from Germany to Ukraine and taking it there, Rubio told journalists during his visit to Malaysia last week.”
In an interview published in La Tribune Dimanche on Sunday, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said that European officials filed a lawsuit to support the US Administration to support air defense capabilities with packages.
He added that France is in the “capacity hole” and that Ukraine would have to wait until next year before giving new ground-air missiles.
Trump is also facing calls to support the legislation aimed at the Republicans and Democrats and European allies, Russia’s oil industry in the Senate, aiming to injure the oil industry and targeting the Kremlin with US sanctions.
Legislation calls for a 500 percent tariff on goods imported from countries that continue to buy Russian oil, gas, uranium and other exports.
It would have a tremendous impact on China and India, which made up about 70 percent of Russia’s energy trade.
The White House expressed some reservations about the legislation.
Trump clearly stated that he wanted full authority on the waiver process to remove sanctions, tariffs or other penalties without leaving control to Congress.
