Jelly Roll admits stress and binge eating amid Bunnie Xo divorce

Jelly Roll admitted to eating due to stress, explaining that “the addict in me came out” after several days of binge eating.
While chatting with a fan, the country music star, who is in the process of divorcing Bunnie Xo, shared how a single pleasure quickly snowballed into fun. Jelly Roll also explained why he believes his struggle with obesity stems from the same addiction mentality that fueled his past substance abuse.
“I had been overeating for the last three or four days and felt stressed while eating,” she said. YouTube video It was shared on July 10. “And then something else happened, the addict in me came out.”

“We did this show at a spot where I love the food,” he explained. “They have dairy-free skillet cookies. I don’t eat anything like that. I’m like a drug addict. You can’t eat that, ’cause if I eat one, I eat two. I eat four. Later that night, I get a peanut butter bubble at the taco truck. The next thing I know, we’re at the rest stop. I’m looking for chocolate. I was like, ‘Damn, that fast, now I consumed an extra 2,000 calories today.’ I didn’t even see it coming.”
Once she tipped the scales at over 500 pounds, the Grammy nominee openly celebrated each milestone, admitting that her struggle with food is far from over. Jelly Roll’s candid confession comes after the country star lost a staggering 275 pounds during a years-long health transformation that inspired fans and reshaped her career.

She revealed her biggest challenge with food: moderation is not an option.
“Like, the hardest thing to understand is that I can’t even eat a hamburger,” Jelly Roll said. “I need to have five. No, I can’t. I can’t even have just one… As if my problem is that it can be healthy.”
“Like, if you put a big bowl of strawberries in front of me – if you put such a big bowl of strawberries in front of me and you leave me alone, I’m definitely going to eat the whole bowl of strawberries. Like I should just pick up a few strawberries and put the bowl aside… or I shouldn’t eat the strawberries at all. You know what I mean?”

The “I’m No Good” singer said she finally realized that the same all-or-nothing mentality that once fueled her addictions was now shaping her relationship with food.
“What I learned is how you do everything,” Jelly Roll said in the video. “That’s how I feel about alcohol. I never did, I never had A. shot. I never did A. cocaine line. I have never smoked A. joint.”
“We either smoke all day, drink all night, use cocaine,” he said. “That’s the way it works for me. So, it’s like when I realized that’s the thing I don’t like with food, now there’s things like cookies in the pan, I don’t eat that.”
This awareness has also changed Jelly Roll’s approach to cheat meals, which can quickly get out of control, he said.
He admitted that one cheat meal could turn into “five days of meal bingeing” for him.

The “I Need a Favor” singer also touched on the deeper mental and emotional challenges she believes often accompany obesity.
“People don’t understand this,” Jelly Roll emphasized. “I tell people: ‘You don’t get to the size you are without having a mental health issue.'”
“This is something much deeper. This is something different,” he added. “But everything changes when you get to the point where you become aware of what you’re really hungry for. And you know what your triggers are.”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are currently getting divorced after nearly 10 years of marriage.
The “Sinner’s Son” singer petitioned Tennessee courts for divorce on May 18, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital. He listed the date of separation as May 9 and noted irreconcilable differences.
