Trump goes scorched earth and vows to SUE Epstein estate and nemesis who he claims ‘conspired to bring him down’

Donald Trump has threatened to sue Jeffrey Epstein’s estate and former friend Michael Wolff for allegedly “conspiring” to destroy his political career.
Emails between Wolff, who appeared to be an unofficial adviser to Epstein ahead of the 2016 US election, show the two men were pushing for Trump’s ouster.
In one message, Wolff told the disgraced financier he could be the ‘bullet’ that would end Trump’s bid to get into the White House, and in another he advised Epstein to ‘let (Trump) hang himself’ in TV interviews about their relationship.
Speaking to reporters on Air Force One while flying to Florida on Saturday night, Trump said he would respond by filing a lawsuit.
‘Wolf, a third-rate writer, was conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein to harm me politically and otherwise, and it became clear,’ he said.
‘So we’ll probably sue Wolff over this… Maybe the Epstein estate, I guess. I don’t know. But we will definitely sue Wolff.’
Trump, 79, also claimed that the latest Epstein file dump exonerated him of his connections to the convicted pedophile, but did not provide a reason for doing so.
‘I didn’t see it myself, but some very important people told me that not only did it exonerate me, but it was the exact opposite of what people, the radical left, were hoping for,’ he said.

Trump is mentioned more than 3,000 times in the final Epstein dossier.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) said some of the documents contained false allegations against the president and said their inclusion did not imply any wrongdoing.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing and has not been charged with any crimes linked to Epstein.
Emails released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee in November show that Epstein mentioned Trump in correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell and Wolff over a period of at least eight years.
Wolff described his relationship with Epstein as a working relationship for several book projects, including Fire and Fury, about the first Trump administration.
He said that he recorded more than 100 hours of conversations with Epstein between 2014 and 2019 as research for this. The two also corresponded by e-mail.
On December 15, 2015 (the day of CNN’s televised Republican primary debate), the author sent an email to Epstein with “beware” in the subject line.
“I hear CNN plans to ask Trump about his relationship with you tonight, on or after live broadcast,” Wolff told the billionaire financier.

Epstein asked Wolff if he would help craft a response for the then-presidential candidate, but the writer told the billionaire financier that he should let Trump provide his own response because his response could bring political capital.
‘If we could prepare an answer for him, what do you think it should be?’ he asked.
Wolff replied: ‘I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he didn’t get on the plane or home, that saves you valuable PR and political money.
‘You can hang it as it potentially gives you a positive benefit, or you can save it and create debt if it looks like it could actually win.
‘Of course, if asked, it’s possible for Jeffrey to say that he’s a great guy, that he’s been wronged and that he’s the victim of political correctness, which would be illegal in the Trump regime.’
