Giddy Trump, 79, Accepts Another Made Up Award

Climate change denier President Donald Trump received the award Wednesday, recently created by a pro-coal group, as his administration prepares to further weaken regulations on greenhouse gases. Trump, 79, held an event at the White House on Wednesday with Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and Energy Secretary Chris Wright, during which he announced an executive order directing the Defense Department to purchase electricity from coal-fired power plants. Trump also secured $175 million in federal funding for upgrades to six coal plants in West Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina and Kentucky, according to a Department of Energy press release.
