Vaibhav Gradija became an important figure by stepping into the role of CFO in August 2023 under Tesla’s financial leadership.

Vaibhav Grainja was elected as the treasurer of the American Party, a newly initiated political platform by Elon Musk, the richest man in the world. Grainja is a man of Indian Origin, who is currently working as Tesla’s Finance Manager (CFO). The Graid is listed as both records and treasurers for the Musk American Party, which aims to disrupt the US’s two -party system.

The formation of the American Party was announced in the official documents made to the Federal Election Commission on Sunday. This came after Musk appeared openly with US President Donald Trump and the Republican Party ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’.

The role of Gija in Tesla

Gija became an important figure under Tesla’s financial leadership and stepped into the role of CFO in August 2023. In 2017, he joined the company as an assistant corporate controller and worked in this role until May 2018. He was later introduced as Tesla’s Chief Officer (CAO) before he was appointed as CFO.

Before joining Tesla, 47-year-old Indo-Origin worked for a year in Solarcity, a solar company that Tesla bought in 2016. India-Origin entrepreneur Delhi University (DU) has a bachelor’s degree in trade. In addition, India is a qualified accountant from the Institute of Certified Public Advisors (ICAI). Between 1997-2000, he followed his accounting in ICAI.

Working with multinational companies in the field of grain, technology, retail and telecom has more than 19 years of experience. He started his career in 1999 at the PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he attended as Deputy Director. He has worked for the company for almost 17 years. In addition, the US has experience in financial statements to be submitted to the Stock Exchange Commission.
