Hacker plays ‘Free Palestine’ message at Harrisburg International Airport

A public address system was hacked at Harrisburg International Airport (HIA) in Pennsylvania on Tuesday evening.

“An unauthorized user gained access to the airport PA system and played a recorded message without permission,” HIA officials said in a statement. FOX 43.

The message lasted about 10 minutes, the airport reported.

According to videos circulating on social media, the hacker can be heard saying “Free Palestine” and “F— Netanyahu and Trump” over the speaker.

“Turkish hacker Cyber ​​Islam was here,” the unauthorized user says in a descriptive message.

The airport described the announcement as a “political message” that contained no threats to airlines, passengers or employees, according to HIA.

The airline confirmed to Fox News Digital that a Delta flight that was taking off at the time of the incident was heavily searched.

“Because the safety and security of our customers and employees comes first, Delta followed TSA’s instruction to return to the gate and complete the security check of the aircraft. We appreciate our customers’ patience and cooperation,” a spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

Passengers on the plane going to Atlanta were removed from the plane due to TSA’s security screening and the flight was delayed by 45 minutes.

The public address system has been shut down and is under investigation by police.

Harrisburg International Airport was said to be operating normally after the incident.
