KGMCTA to launch protests on Doctors’ Day

Kerala Government Medical Faculty Teachers’ Association (KGMCTA) will launch a series of protests starting from the National Doctor Day on July 1 to protest the government’s indifference to solving the problems that have been ongoing for a few long -standing problems faced by teachers in state medical faculties.

KGMCTA also plans to launch a social media campaign on the same day to emphasize its concerns.

From January 2016 to September 2020, the salary debts waiting to be paid immediately and the payment revision anomalies in the entrance staff be corrected. KGMCTA pointed out that payment revision debts have been paid to the categories of all state government employees except the Faculty of Medicine College.

In addition, many states have taken urgent steps to correct the inadequacy of faculty duties in the state medical schools in the state. He said that new medical colleges should only be functional after providing sufficient infrastructure and creating adequate teaching and non -teaching publications.

KGMCTA said that the government should take steps to improve systemic deficiencies in public sector hospitals and to stop the accusation of doctors.
