Newsom Trolls MAGA’s Meltdown Over His Sitting Position

Gov. Gavin Newsom mocked hitherto unknown forms of sitting at Wednesday’s New York Times Dealbook Summit after conservative media reported on his reclining position. Newsom, 58, sat with his legs crossed sharply and his ankle bent so that he was level with the stage during his interview with New York Times columnist Andrew Sorkin. The photo first spread on social media, where conservative posters joked that Newsom had crushed his testicles, and then earned a segment on FOX News, where Republican strategist Katie Zachariah said, “That’s a pathetic pose. I don’t see boss guys sitting like that, especially President Trump.”
