Kansas City police officer killed by fleeing suspect while deploying stop sticks to end pursuit
While Kansas City tries to distribute stops, he mourns the loss of a police officer after a deadly shot from a driver who escaped from law enforcement officers.
Kansas City Police Department in Kansas described the massacred officer as 26 -year -old Hunter Simoncic. The young officer graduated from the Department Academy in 2023.
According to the Kansas Investigation Office, Simoncic was shot early on Tuesday morning on Tuesday morning and deployed stops on the State Boulevard to stop a driver fleeing law enforcement officers.

In a Facebook article, the episode said Simoncic’s death brought “a deep sense of loss and pain”.
Before joining KCKPD, Simoncic worked as a shift supervisor at the Southeast Kansas Regional Children’s Detention Center, according to the department. He also received a master’s degree in undergraduate and judicial science in the field of sociology.
He also volunteered at Benjamin Banneker Primary School and read children weekly through a program known as Lead to KC.

Simoncic’s death comes only weeks after Elijah Ming, who helps in Kansas City, was shot and killed on the task line.
