7 U.S. states, cities and towns that will pay you to move there

Whether you want to escape the high costs of a big city or just want to make a new start in a new place – why don’t you get payment?
There are many states, cities and towns in the United States that offer financial incentives to move there. This is something Evan HockMakemymove’s founding partner and COO CNBC wants Make Make It wants more people to be aware of.
“For the first time, consumers are in the driver’s seat in the place where they live and work. They are always more active than ever by work, and if you are a smart person, you can find a job almost everywhere and offer options to these people,” he says.
“They move from places like California, New York, Texas and Florida to places with a better quality of life. As long as they are interested, they are looking for an affordable price and community connection.”
Hock says that most of these programs are to reach a mass of talent ready to move and grow their communities.
“The most involved places are the places in the middle of the country. Often, they have lost their abilities to the city centers historically or have lost their ability to the city centers. This is a way to open their doors and bring back some of these abilities.”
One of the most important things to do before applying to any of these programs is to visit. Hock says it is something that many people find that they neglect. But when it’s done, go for it.
“The seats are limited, so if you’re thinking of doing a move, it’s free to apply and it’s free to get your name into a hat, so get dive,” he adds.
