Man stabbed to death in major UK city as police launch murder probe | UK | News

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in Birmingham. Emergency services were called to Swanage Road, Small Heath, Birmingham, at 6.40pm on Saturday, December 20.

Police officials determined that the person died at the scene. A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

In a statement, West Midlands Police said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and a scene remains in place as we carry out urgent inquiries in the area to establish exactly what happened.

“Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 3826 of 20 December or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
