‘Severe’: Blaze rips through cafe, factory at Guildford, Sydney
A fire was torn from a cafe to the west of Sydney and a neighboring factory overnight.
On Thursday, more than 20 firefighters were called to the scene at the Byron RD in Guildford at 1.40.
A NSW fire and rescue spokesman said the fire spread from the café to a adjacent building and caused “severe damage ..
The spokesman said that a firefighter was transferred to the hospital as a precaution because it was a “a little fall” while fighting fire.
The owner of the Cafe has tried to control the first fire before spreading to the neighboring factory.
A woman in her 40s – believed to have a café – and the firefighter was transferred to Westmead Hospital.
It was also reported that people were in front of emergency services at the scene.
NSWFR said the fire did not receive suspicious treatment.
