MakeMyTrip and Zomato join hands to provide passengers food options at 130+ stations, give Diwali coupon — Check details
The company has established a partnership by Zomato, a food distribution platform to provide meals at more than 130 railway stations at more than 40,000 restaurants to train passengers, Makemytrip, a online travel reservation company.
All travelers who reserve train tickets through Makemytrip will be suitable for ordering food to their seats via zomato. In addition, with the festive spirit, customers added that they will receive free Diwali special coupons that can be used for food orders made in Zomato.
Rahul GUPTA, VP – Product, Zomato said in a statement, “This cooperation aims to enable train passengers to order food directly to their seats through the MakaryTrip Platform from their favorite restaurants. We are really excited about the value that this partner will bring to our customers.”
Food on the train: the company sees ‘important opportunity’
