According to local police, a 25-year-old woman was found dead in the early hours of Sunday following a gathering at a rented flat in Gurugram’s DLF Phase-1 area. The incident came to light when hospital officials informed law enforcement that the woman had died during treatment.
It was learned that the woman, identified as Simran Dadwal, worked as a cabin attendant in a domestic airline company. He was originally from Mohali, Punjab and was living in Delhi for work.
Health Emergency During Gathering
Police officials said Simran had gone to Gurugram on Saturday to spend time with her friends and attended a small party at a flat rented by one of them. He reportedly began experiencing severe breathing trouble in the early hours of Sunday morning.
His friends who were at the meeting took him to a nearby private hospital when his condition worsened. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, the young man could not be saved and died during treatment.
A senior police official said that the breathing difficulties started at dawn but the exact cause remains unclear at this stage.
Hospital Staff Notified the Police
Authorities were alerted by the hospital shortly after the woman’s death. Upon notice, the police team reached the hospital and initiated standard legal procedures. The body was later taken to the local morgue for further examination.
Inspector Rajesh Kumar, station house officer of DLF Phase-1 police station, confirmed that necessary steps were taken to preserve evidence and document the circumstances surrounding the death.
Family Seeks Clarity Through Autopsy
Simran’s family came to Gurugram on Sunday after being informed about the incident. They demanded an autopsy to ensure transparency and eliminate any possibility of foul play.
An autopsy will help determine the exact cause of death, including whether it was due to a medical condition or other factors, police officials said. Further legal action, if necessary, will depend on the findings of the forensic report.
Investigation Continues
No allegations of impropriety have been made at this time and police have not opened a criminal case. Statements from friends present in the flat are being recorded to reconstruct the sequence of events that led to the medical emergency.
Authorities said they were awaiting autopsy results before reaching conclusions. Until then, the case will remain under investigation as authorities try to determine the circumstances behind the young airline professional’s sudden death.
