Gold Coast Suns’ Daniel Rioli to have surgery on leg fracture, will miss several weeks
Gold Coast star Daniel Rioli will have surgery in his fibula and will not be used for a few weeks with a blow to Suns’s final hopes until September.
On Sunday, Rioli suffered a half -leg injury to the crows in Adelaide with a half -half of the 61 -point loss and had to be collected from the ground. After a 28 -year -old MCL injury, he carried out an operation on his knee at the beginning of December last year.

“The scans on Monday show that Daniel continues a small break for Fibula,” Suns said in a statement.
“After discussing the results with Daniel, it was decided that it would go through an operation that would make it unusable for a few weeks.”
It is an unpleasant news for Gold Coast, who offered to make the first finals and lost midfielder Tuk Miller for Hamstring injury last week. The Suns record on the eighth staircase and this Saturday will face the Premiers Brisbane.
