At least two people were killed and five others were injured when a car crashed into a grocery store in Westwood, Los Angeles, on Thursday afternoon.

The crash was reported at 12:11 a.m. on Westwood Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Some of the victims were initially trapped under the vehicle, department official Lyndsey Lantz told Eyewitness News.

Lantz confirmed that at least two victims were dead. In the incident, 3 of them were in serious condition and 2 were slightly injured.
