CLT ends gift card donation drive following executive order to backpay TSA workers

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS/AP) — Charlotte Douglas International Airport is withdrawing its TSA support initiative following an executive order directing the Department of Homeland Security to reimburse agency employees.
TSA workers will be able to receive their first payment in more than a month on Monday, March 30. Employees have been working without pay since February 14, when the partial government shutdown began.
