Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the great cross of Makarios III, the largest honor of Cyprus by President Nikos Christodoulides at the presidential palace in Lefosia on Monday.
The order of Makarios III, the highest merit dignity given in Cyprus, is the first president of the Republic of Cyprus Makarios III. It is given to other people with important status in the recognition of valuable service to the heads of state and the nation.
Prime Minister Modi was grateful for the honor of President Christodoulides, the government and the people of Cyprus.
