Archegos Employees Entitled to $33 Million, Judge Says

Mills was not accused of his actions in Archegos.
Prosecutors also said that David Park, a senior analyst, was not a victim. According to the government, the Park worked daily with Hwang and took the forefront of Hwang’s manipulative trade strategy ”.
However, Hellerstein said that Park was a victim and that the Park did not falsify information, that he had no role in dealing with defrauded banks and that he was unaware of the illegal plan.
In March 2021, Hwang was sentenced to 18 years in prison to have a trade capacity to inflate the trade capacity to ARChegos, which constantly inflates the value of the high concentrated portfolio until the bubble explosion.
Hwang lawyers did not respond immediately to messages looking for comments about the decision. Halligan, who was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment, refrained from commenting on a lawyer.
Both are free of charge on the appeal. Hellerstein said Halligan’s responsibility is limited in one -third of the total and that Hwang refers to more crime for the plan.
