Nigel Farage will announce Reform England’s economic plans in his speech today. The reform leader will vow to form the “pro-business” government in Britain’s history if his rebel party comes to power.

Mr Farage is expected to use the speech to promise sweeping deregulation, arguing that the UK is not making the most of Brexit.

He will say: “The harsh reality is that in many areas regulations and regulators are worse off than they were in 2016.”

Mr Farage will also backtrack on his party’s promise of a £90bn tax cut in 2024, saying Labor and the Conservatives have “destroyed the public finances” and that Reform must first get public spending under control.
