M6 and M62 traffic RECAP: Multi-vehicle crash sparks 90 minute delays as lanes closed | UK | News

The crash on the M62 on Tuesday evening caused long delays and drivers had to face queues of up to 90 minutes. The collision occurred eastbound between Junction 11 at Birchwood and Junction 12 at Eccles Junction.

National Highways initially said three of the four lanes were closed, with two later reopened. There was also a separate crash on the southbound M6 at Junction 20, causing problems for motorists in Cheshire.
