Telangana High Court Quashes Criminal Case Against Congress MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy in 2021 Choutuppal Incident

Haydarabad: On Friday, Justice K. Lakshman of the Supreme Court of TaLangana filed a lawsuit against Congress Mla Komatirereddy Raj Gopal Redy in connection with a 2021 incident during a government program in Choutuppal.

The case was recorded by Chouutuppal police for the accusations of Raj Gopal Redy, including Minister G. Jagadish Redy, during the distribution of food security cards in Lakkaram.

According to the Fir, while the Minister made his speech at the government event, Raj Gopal Redy was allegedly approaching the daisy, grabbing the microphone and causing interruption. This incident reportedly caused a conflict between BRS workers and Raj Gopal Reddy supporters.
