Trump slaps 25% tariffs on heavy trucks imports, starting Oct. 1

US President Donald Trump said in the state on Thursday night.
“All” heavy (big!) Trucks made in other parts of the world will encounter higher tariffs Trump said, in an article on the truth on SocialTo move to protect US manufacturers from “unfair competition” and to address national security concerns.
“Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freighttliner, Mack Trucks and others, such as the major truck company manufacturers will be protected from the attack of external deductions.”
