NFL’s C.J. Gardner-Johnson taunted with ‘karma’ chants by Taylor Swift fans; here’s the backstory

Houston Texans Security CJ Gardner-Johnson suffered a serious leg injury at the training session on Thursday (August 7th) and raised the fear that the 2025 NFL season could end before the start of the season. The 26 -year -old defense backs collapsed during the drills, could not put weight on his leg and left the field on a car.

Texans head coach Deco Ryans described the scene as “heartbreaking ve and said that the team would evaluate the injury before determining the status of the team, according to a report made by The Body.

Why did Swifties react differently?

While most of the football world expressed sympathy, some Taylor Swift fans, known as “swiftiies ,, used social media to mimic the injury. Their reactions stem from Gardner-Johnson’s comments and actions, as Marca has reported.
On the way to Super Bowl Lix, Gardner-Johnson suggested that the chefs should stay with Nicole, his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole instead of leaving Swift.
During Eagles’s victory parade, he wore a hooded hood with a humiliating message to Swift’s fan base.

Online ‘mixture’ chat

After the news of the injury on Thursday, some Swiftis published the word “karma ve and other cynical words. One fan wrote “Lmao Karma ,, the other was“ Prayers but Karma ”commented.

Others in the sports community pushed back, arguing that it was wrong to celebrate the injury of an athlete, regardless of personal disputes.
