Jennifer Lawrence slammed by fans as ‘AWFUL’ for rehoming dog who bit her child: ‘This is so disappointing’
Jennifer Lawrence received backlash from some fans after revealing that she had given up her dog after it bit one of her young children.
The 35-year-old actor, who recently put aside his shocking snub at the SAG Actor Awards, made the statement earlier this week while attending a screening of his film Die My Love in New York on Wednesday.
At one point, the Oscar-winning actor said he was bitten by his son’s chihuahua, which he said “made me want to destroy every dog ever.” However, he explained that the dog is now living safely with his family.

One wrote: ‘You can’t abandon your dog just because you have kids, you teach your kids to respect your pet, wow, I really don’t like him anymore.’
