2028 Dem frontrunner beating Kamala Harris has 0% Black support, poll finds

2028 The Democratic Presidency is still years away from the primary, but a new survey found that voters did not see former Vice President Kamala Harris as their best elections.

A survey Emerson College Former South Bend Mayor and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, published on Friday, found that the number one election for democratic primary voters in a hypothetical race.

16% of the participants who described it as a democratic primary voters said that they would support Buttigieg, while 13% said they would choose Harris as a candidate.

However, the questionnaire, when the primary time came, determined a potential problem for buttigig: 0% support from black voters.

Buttigieg did not lead the 2028 Democratic Candidate Survey for the first time. A questionnaire published by Atlas Intel on May 30, found Buttigieg as the best candidate among democratic primary voters.

According to the survey, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, rep. Sen Bernie Sanders, who ran and lost in both 2016 and 2020 democratic principles for the President, took fifth place in I-VT and says that 5% of voters will support the 83-year-old senator.

While the Emerson survey found Buttigieg as a preliminary runner in a hypothetical match, the largest democratic group participating in the survey-23%-23% was undecided about who would choose to run.

Black, high school trained voters have returned to Harris

According to the survey, the best survey among black voters, Kamala Harris, shows that 30.1% of the participants support him.

Harris also performed well between high school education or less voters, 23.9% of voters in this category support him – more than other democratic candidates.

Meanwhile, BUTTİGİGİEG performed the best performance between white voters (22.1%) and university graduates (20.1%). In addition, vocational/technical school education (12.7%) between voters, associate degree (18.5%) and graduate education or higher among those who have higher (12.7%).

In terms of black voters, the questionnaire found that buttigigieg gained 0% support.

According to the survey, Newsom, the third most popular election among the democrats, did the best among Latin voters (21.1%) and Asian voters (13.4%).

Middle-aged voters like buttigieg, young voters such as Ocasio-Cortez

Buttigieg also performed the best performance among middle -aged voters. It was a favorite among voters aged 40-49 years (15.2%) and 50-59 years old (21.2%). It was also popular between voters (20%) aged 70 years and older. Among the voters aged 60-69, Newsom was the leader, and 18.3% of the participants in the age range supported the governor of California.

Ocasio-Cortez was the most popular election among voters aged 18-29 and 22.7% of voters supported the New York Congress Member. Harris was the most popular among those aged 30-39, and 18.7% said they would support him in a presidential campaign.

The Emerson College survey was conducted between 24-25 June 2025. There were 404 people who answered questions about democratic candidates.
