Terror module case: CIK raids doctor’s home in J-K’s Anantnag

Counter Intelligence Kashmir on Sunday conducted a search at the house of a doctor in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district in connection with the ‘white collar terror module’ case, officials said.

Officials said that the raid was carried out by CIK sleuths at Malaknag in Anantnag district during the night.

They said that during the searches conducted by CIK staff, they found that a female doctor of Haryana origin was residing in the house as a tenant.
Authorities said CIK seized a mobile phone from the house and took it for forensic examination.

Meanwhile, according to officials, dry fruit seller Bilal Ahmad Wani, who was captured along with his son Jasir Bilal for questioning by the police in connection with the terror module incident, tried to set himself on fire in Qazigund area.


Bilal Ahmad was taken to GMC in Anantnag for treatment of burns and his condition was stated to be stable. It was stated that his son was detained for questioning. Wani, Dr. Wani, who emerged as the key accused in the ‘white collar terror module’ case. Muzaffar is Pretty’s neighbor.

Muzaffar is currently believed to be in Afghanistan, while his younger brother, Dr. Adeel Pretty was arrested from Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on November 6.
