Russian commander forces refusenik soldier to crawl like a dog, eat dirt and threatens to strap a landmine to him in leaked torture footage

A new video has emerged highlighting the barbarity of Vladimir Putin’s army and showing a nearly naked, rejecting soldier being forced to eat dirt by his commander.

The soldier, wearing only his underpants, is seen being thrown into a pit and his ribs are broken.

His commander in Russia’s 82nd Motorized Rifle Regiment (military unit 52033) taunts and tortures him.

The soldier who refused is thought to have escaped before being captured and punished in the torture pit.

In the video, his commander can be heard shouting: ‘Come on, you ****, how are you feeling?’ before the soldier replied: ‘I feel sick.’

‘Turn your face this way,****. ‘Come on, get on your knees, you bastard!’

He was ordered to express his regret for trying to evade cannon fodder in Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine.

“Say whatever you want to the children’s families and friends,” the unidentified commander shouted.

The soldier was forced to eat dirt and crawl on all fours like a dog in the filthy pit he was thrown into.

The commander begins to say, ‘I want to apologize to their families…’ before shouting:

‘What’s going on, are you apologizing? ‘Are you stupid, are you stupid?’

He is then forced to eat the soil in the filthy pit into which he was thrown.

‘Eat the soil, you *****! Eat, eat, eat, you fucking *****. You dog, you *****. ‘Come on, come on. Since you’re a dog, go ahead, go for a walk, crawl on all fours.’

‘My ribs hurt,’ the soldier pleads before the commander starts hurling insults and threats at the man.

‘**** your ribs, for the sake of ****! You’re going to be raided with a pancake tomorrow, you fucking *****!’

Pancake is a mine that can explode at any moment and kill him.

Such raids carry a high risk of death to Ukrainian forces defending their country’s territory.

The footage is the latest in a wave of videos posted on social media platforms such as Telegram showing Putin’s commander torturing his soldiers.

Last month, the Daily Mail compiled a series of graphic videos showing commanders beating and electrocuting their troops, denying them food, forcing them to crawl in mud, tying them naked to trees in sub-zero temperatures and even making them fight to the death.

Other images show wounded soldiers on crutches being sent back to the front. In separate clips, troops holed up in Ukrainian bunkers film themselves surviving on stolen potatoes because their own army won’t provide them with food.

Commanders send their men into so-called ‘flesh storm’ battles, which resemble suicide missions in which soldiers are thrown into Ukrainian positions until they run out of ammunition.

Those who escape or refuse orders face brutal punishment.

In one of the videos, two naked men lie in a pit as their commander shouts at them and sprays bullets into the ground nearby. The commander shouts, ‘Stay there for a few more days until you learn how to follow orders.’

In another photo, two men are forced to crawl in the mud while commanders throw soil at them and hit their heads. The commander asked ‘will you still be sick?’ He can be heard shouting. while beating him.

The commander was heard threatening the soldier, saying, “Tomorrow you will raid with pancakes.”

In one of the clips, a middle-aged soldier chained by the neck in a box is seen mocking his commander for food.

‘Are you hungry?’ The commander asks before throwing a plate of meat and bread at his head and pouring water on him.

‘Eat, dog. “You’re going to die there, you know,” the commander sneers as he hits the man.

In another video, half-naked men are seen chained to a tree. A commander can be heard saying, “These are our dogs that ran away from us, but we caught them.” He then forces two soldiers to bark like dogs before urinating on them.

In another clip, reportedly from the 132nd Brigade, two terrified soldiers are taped to a tree. One of them had a bucket placed over his head, which a commander kicked repeatedly.

The commander shouts ‘why did you refuse orders’ while hitting the man repeatedly. He then turns to the other man, an old soldier, and tells him that you will be shot before urinating on the young man.

One of the videos shows a middle-aged soldier being beaten while accused of theft. Commanders write ‘I am a thief’ in black pen on his chest and force him to dance while mocking him by dressing as a clown.

In a different disturbing clip, a man screams and writhes on the ground after being repeatedly electrocuted by laughing soldiers.
