BJD is looking for a discussion about the deterioration of ‘law and order status’ in parliament
On the eve of the monsoon session, the regional parties raised various state -specific issues at a party meeting, and Biju Janata Dal demanded a discussion about the “worsening” law and order in various states, including Odisha in the parliament.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, BJD’s Rajya Sabha deputy and spokesman Sasmit Patra claimed that the BJP rule was “innocence, anarchy and an increase in crime against women” in Odisha.
“A 15 -year -old girl was set on fire by some false beliefs in the Puri region of Odisha on Saturday. Critical, AIIMS is being treated in Bhubaneshwar.
“About a month ago, a 20 -year -old university girl was gentle at the Gopalpur Sea Beach in Odisha. While talking about the disgusting crimes committed against women and girls in Odisha, the BJP government in the state was desperate, completely confused and completely failed,” he added.
The BJD deputy also stated a recent attack on BHUBANESWAR Municipal Company’s additional commissioner Ratnakar Sahoo, and said the incident clearly showed how the Odisha government under the BJP shows the “absolute lawlessness and anarchy in the state. – PTI
