Piers Morgan has revealed whether he will enter politics as he criticizes “shockingly mediocre” MPs.
It seems BBC Breakfast On Monday, October 20, the broadcaster considered whether he would throw his hat into the prime ministerial ring, stating that “the Prime Minister carries a certain connotation”.
The 60-year-old explained that this had never appealed to him, but criticized the current government as “mediocre” and compared it to previous iterations that were “full of smart people doing things in the real world”.
“I can’t understand that feeling anymore,” he said.
He added that he believes politicians should be paid very high salaries to get the best results, as is the case in Singapore. “If you pay peanuts, you get a monkey.”
