In the survey, Abu Dhabi was named the happiest city in the world for 2025, followed by Medellín, Cape Town, Mexico City and Mumbai.

Other cities in the top 20 include Melbourne, Sydney, Porto and Glasgow, while Brighton stands out in the UK.

Brighton’s strong ranking reflects both its natural beauty and vibrant cultural scene.

Known for its seafront, iconic pier and pebble beach, the city offers residents easy access to the coast while maintaining a lively urban atmosphere.
