Jury retires in Constance Marten and Mark Gordon retrial

PA MediaThe jury retired to take into account the decisions of Constance Marten and Mark Gordon, who were both accused of having heavy negligence of newborn babies.
In 2023, the couple was the subject of a police man who found the evidence of a recent birth in a burned car near Bolton.
They were found on February 27, 2023, and two days later they called Victoria, the newborn was discovered in a shopping bag in a allocation hut in Brighton’s Hollingbury region. He died in a tent in South Downs in January 2023.
Gordon, 51 and 38 -year -old Marten refuses to kill men, both killing male killing and killing a child.
Gordon and Marten were found guilty at a previous hearing to hide the birth of a child and to mislead the course of justice without reporting his death.
The jury in this case could not make a decision on unpaid charges.
In March, a re -trial began in Old Bailey in London.
