No Going Back On Musi River Project, Telangana Minister Assures

Haydarabad: IT and Industry Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu confirmed the commitment of rejuvenating the Musi River on Saturday and declared that he was “did not return” in the project despite the resistance.

“When a good initiative is taken, there will always be forces trying to prevent. The same applies to music. However, we will complete this task for the sake of future generations. Tahangana will stand as a role model in the protection of water resources,” he said.

The city planners organized by ITPI TELANGANA regional section on Saturday was talking after opening the Conference of the Southern Region of the Southern Region of the Institute Institute Institute Institute (ITPI). The theme of the conference was ‘policies and strategies for biophilic urbanism’.

Sridhar Babu emphasized that urban planning is the basis of economic prosperity and that real development should go hand in hand with environmental sustainability. “Building buildings alone does not create growth. Every policy we frame, every forest we protect, every river we restored, and every source of livelihood we create are the actions of justice between generations.”

The Minister pointed out that TaLangana has already created national criteria for urban greens expansion, carbon neutral growth, water saving and sustainable transportation. He stressed the role of technology in designing climate -resistant cities and called for planning to take into account climate change, urban flood, pollution, exhaustion of ground water, green cover and rapid urbanization.

In the conference, ITPI President NK Patel, Secretary General Kul Shrestha, Coordinator (Techno Admin) Pradeep Kumar, ITPI TELANGANA Regional Department Head S. Devender Redy and Secretary K. Muralidhar Redy, city planners and policy experts attended.
