US Open 2025 results: Felix Auger-Aliassime sets up Alex de Minaur quarter-final

De Minaur needed only one hour 33 minutes to reach the quarter -finals, but the Australian eighth seed was far from being perfect against the world number 435.
At the beginning of the first set, the breaks argued that the crowd in the Louis Armstrong Stadium was about to enjoy a close competition, but proved the collapse of Riedi or never aggressive game.
The 23 -year -old only faced seven break points in the first set and allowed Minaur to sweep in 32 minutes.
De Minaur stopped for the second set by breaking between 0-40 and winning five flat games before Ruedi.
In the second set, Australian made only 55% of its first services, but Riedii 15 felt little pressure while making mistakes.
Riedii did something quite good to reach the last 16 after two separate operations at the end of last year, but the last set began to block it and the service game was torn apart.
De Minaur received the level of the second set to reach the Grand Slam quarter final for the sixth time in his career.
