Uttam reviews State-wide water availability, wants optimal use for Kharif

On Saturday, the Minister of Irrigation and Civil Equipment N. Uttam Gamar examined the waterability in all major reservoirs in the province and instructed the irrigation authorities to prepare a scientific and practical plan for the optimal use of water during the ongoing season (Valve Kalam).
The plan should take into account the existing reservoir levels, expected monsoon entries and the total Ayacut that can be presented effectively and that the irrigation and agricultural departments work together during the previous Kharif and Yasangi seasons and led to 281 lakh tons of paddy record production and ensure that the country was the largest peddy-sun.
He reviewed the water resources in both Krishna and Godavari basins and evaluated that the department is ready to meet the irrigation needs of farmers. The Minister emphasized that a clear and coordinated water emission strategy is based on real -time data, crop patterns and the geography of Ayacut. The Minister, who reviewed the preparation of the monsoon, told the authorities to take precautions before and during heavy rainfall periods. Authorities led the dams, reservoirs, channels and allied structures to closely monitor and take preventive measures to prevent violations, flood or infrastructure damage.
The Minister instructed the Department to regularly contact the Department of Disaster Management Department and provide strong inter -institutional coordination for flood control. “Public security and the structural integrity of all irrigation assets cannot be negotiated. Authorities should always remain vigilant and sensitive,” he added.

The meeting discussed the long -standing land isolation problems of the properties of the irrigation department. The Minister directed the officials to identify and evacuate the illegal passengers from irrigation areas and facilities in Telangana, including the Institute of Water and Land Management Training and Research and Research and Research Laboratory (ERL). All the irrigation department announced that a state driver will soon be launched to get back and secure their property.
