Film makers refusing work with some Israeli firms
Actors Olivia Colman, Javier Bardem and Aimee Lou Wood are among more than 1300 film workers who have signed a promise of refusing to play a role in the Palestinian people with Israeli film institutions.
Palestinian pledge film workers were signed by Susan Sarandon, Mark Ruffalo, Riz Ahmed, Tilda Swinton, Julia Sawalha, Miriam Margolyes, Ken Loach and Juliet Stevenson.
A joint statement of the group read: “As filmmakers, actors, film industry employees and institutions, we know the power of shaping the perceptions of cinema.

The group added, “For all people, standing for equality, justice and freedom is a deep moral task that none of us can ignore” and “now they have to speak against the damage to the Palestinian people”.
