Chief Justice of India to visit Tirupati on February 28

Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant is scheduled to arrive in Tirupati on a two-day visit from February 28.
He will lay the foundation stone of the district court complex at Daminedu on the outskirts of Tirupati on March 1.
Ahead of the planned visit, a team of officials led by District Collector S. Venkateswar, Joint Collector R. Govinda Rao, trainee Collector Sandeep Raghuvanshi, Police Inspector L. Subbarayudu, Tirupati Airport Director Bhuminathan and others inspected the area prepared for ‘Bhumi Puja’.
In an earlier meeting with Third Additional District and Sessions Judge M. Gurunath and other officials, Mr. Venkateswar reviewed the arrangements made at the venue.
