Japan’s Nikkei 225 continues post election rally as Asian stock markets mostly rise

Japan’s market continues to boost the “Takaichi trade” following Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s landslide victory in the Lower House.

While Nikkei 225 increased by 2.39% to 57,708, Topix broke a new record with an increase of 1.91%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose to a marginal record 50,135.87 and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.9%.
