Honda refreshes 2026 CB125R with four new colours, specs unchanged

The renewed series includes Matt Rock Grey, Matt Lucent Silver Metallic, Zefiro Blue Metallic and Matt Pearl Diaspro Red. The overall design continues to mirror the styling of the larger CB300R previously sold in India. The CB125R blends modern and retro elements, with sharp fuel tank extensions, a compact tail section and a round headlight that adds an old-school touch.
Mechanical details remain unchanged
The motorcycle continues to use a 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 15 bhp, paired with a five-speed gearbox and four valve heads. Its hardware includes 41mm Showa SFF front forks, 296mm front disc with four-piston calipers and tilt-sensitive ABS with IMU. With a curb weight of just 130 kg, the CB125R remains light and agile, making it ideal for urban commuting.
India launch unlikely
Honda CB125R may not launch in India due to potential pricing challenges in the cost-sensitive market. Honda’s 125cc lineup in India currently includes the CB125 Hornet, SP 125 and Shine 125, with the latter two recording strong sales figures.
