Vuelta a Espana: Ben Turner wins fourth stage to claim maiden Grand Tour stage victory

Ben Turner from the Great Britain made a striking sprint coating in Vuelta A Espaana to demand his first Grand Tour Stage win.

Turner won the fourth stage of the race from Jasper Philipsen and Edward Planckaert, the second and third Belgian duo – a 206.7km Middle Mountain Route from Susa to Voiron.

When the 26-year-old-Ineos team-mate Lucas Hamilton withdrew from the disease, Vuelta was given a late call-long and rising end.

“This is a crazy feeling. Today I really believed in myself and I trust what I should do,” Turner said professionally.

David Gaudu from France, which won the third stage, is led by the general ranking that finishes enough to count Red Jersey in front of Denmark’s Jonas Vinggegaard.
