’Union govt has imposed undeclared President’s rule in Punjab,’ says CM Mann

Punjab Prime Minister Bhagwant Mann hit Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and accused him of ignoring Punjab and said that the Prime Minister had time to meet with the elected representatives (governor) on important issues and that the elected representatives were ignored by him.
The Prime Minister said that BJP insulted the task of the people by falling into “completely unjust and unwanted” anger. The union government said that the “non -notified Presidency’s rule” implemented the union government. The Union government is watching the basic federal structure of the unfortunate constitution.
During the special session of the Punjab State Assembly, Mr. Mann spoke about the debate surrounding the last flood and rehabilitation of the state.
The Prime Minister said the state government was looking for flood compensation from the Indian Government up to 50,000 floods per acre. “Even at this time of the grave crisis, the union ministers came to the state for disaster tourism instead of reaching out to the state government and people,” he said.

Resolution in the Punjab Assembly

The BJP also requested a CBI investigation by the Punjab government on the claim that SDRF funds were abused.
