Prince Andrew’s banner removed from Windsor Castle amid royal disgrace

The removal of Prince Andrew’s coat of arms and banner from Windsor Castle is another “nail in the coffin” for the disgraced royal, experts say.
Buckingham Palace confirmed to Fox News Digital that Andrew’s flag, which featured his coat of arms, was removed after he lost his title and all the honors that came with it earlier this month.
British royal expert Helena Chard told Fox News Digital that the palace’s move was even more humiliating for Andrew.

He continued, “This statue will have been removed to avoid further public backlash and to show that there is a sign that there is a moral code and no-nonsense policy within the royal family. This will deeply hurt Andrew when his beloved mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, is laid to rest in St George’s Chapel. The chapel was his refuge and solace.”

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital that the banner is from St. He said Andrew was “perhaps lucky” to have been removed from St. George’s Chapel.

“In discussions with the King and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded that the ongoing allegations against me are a distraction from the work of Her Majesty and the Royal Family,” a statement released by the Crown and obtained by Fox News Digital said.
