Calls to overhaul ‘broken’ parental leave for dads

The deputies call the government to fight the British “broken” parenting system system, because a parliamentary committee warns that a summer investigation will fail in the working families if it is only “folding on the edges”.
A report from the Women’s and Equality Committee (WeC) branded Britain’s parent permission system as one of the worst permission offers in the developed world for fathers and other parents “.
He condemned the maximum two -week paternity permit as a factor that “took a completely step because of how most couples wanted to share their parenting responsibilities” and “settling outdated gender stereotypes in maintenance.”
The government admitted that the first steps such as paternity and unpaid parenting left the “first day”.
“But the government acknowledges that more can be done.
“Examination offers a very needed opportunity to take into account our approach to the parent’s leave and wage system.

Sarah Sarah Owen, who chaired the Women’s and Equality Committee, said, “The Committee should welcome the British Parent Permission system and the contradiction of the ministers to interact throughout the process.
“WeC’s report warned that dealing on the sides of a broken system will disappoint workers.
“While the government continues the agenda of the economic growth, the UK cannot continue its system of parent leave system with one of the worst legal permission offers for fathers and other parents in the developed world, which are far behind most of the comparable countries.
“The fact that the government’s response to the longer, better wage paternity permission in this parliament is disappointing, because change was needed and delayed.
“As our report shows, the increasing number of larger enterprises apply a parental permission equal to gender, and some of them have been convinced of business benefits through employee participation, retention and lower recruitment costs.
“The next examination should discuss the ‘basic failures’ in the existing system, improve gender equality, fight with motherhood penalty, and act on the strong evidence of economic and social benefits in the middle and longer maturity of government investment.”
