PM Urges Discipline, Balanced Use of Technology in Pariksha Pe Charcha

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students in the second part of the 9th edition on Monday. Pariksha Pe Charcha. The first episode of the program took place on February 6.

In the second part, the Prime Minister connected with students from various cities like Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, Guwahati and Delhi. He said that he attended these conversations to learn from students rather than to teach them.

Answering the question of how young people can contribute to the Viksit Bharat 2047 target, Modi said that he is happy that students are thinking about the future of the country. He encouraged the adoption of responsible habits such as reducing waste, turning off engines at red lights, and applying discipline in daily life.

The Prime Minister also warned against over-reliance on technology. He said artificial intelligence and mobile phones should be used as tools and not allowed to dominate daily routines, adding that people should not fear AI but use it to expand their potential.

Emphasizing the importance of discipline, Modi said motivation alone cannot guarantee success. Using the example of farmers who need to work on time to protect their crops, he explained that inspiration combined with discipline leads to better results.

He also emphasized the importance of striking a balance between academics and extracurricular interests. He advised students not to neglect education even if they are successful in sports, and encouraged them to develop their talents and maintain the balance between studying and playing.
